WORKSHOP VIOLIN #13 - This is our new Workshop model violin which is made to our strict specifications. This model features a beautiful one-piece back of nicely flamed maple with matching ribs and scroll. The top is made from a tight grain spruce. All the tone woods used have been naturally seasoned for a minimum of 10 years. It is finished with a beautiful translucent red-brown spirit varnish and has rosewood fittings with natural boxwood trim. The fingerboard, nut and saddle are ebony. The tone is clear, balanced and responsive. The setup is completed here in our workshop with a new maple bridge, a new sound post, a Hill style E tuner, and a set of Pirastro Tonica strings. This model is a great value for someone on a tight budget who still requires a high quality hand-made instrument. Includes an oblong case and carbon composite bow.
